Health,  I Was Here

Let’s Talk: My Feature on The Run Wave Podcast

This year has been nothing short of amazing! I have always been blessed with having some pretty awesome people in my circle and this year has been a year of growth and collaboration for us all.

A good run girlfriend of mine, Kimberley Williams, ventured into becoming a podcast host this year. Her podcast, The Run Wave Podcast, was created as an outlet for runners to discuss all things running.  She discusses topics that can’t be discussed in a 280 character tweet or an Instagram post. The Run Wave is a safe place for Runners to discuss what’s on their mind, vent about things going on within the running community, and just a place where runners can be themselves and have a great time.

Kim is a New York native, so when she reached out to ask if I would be on her podcast the next time she came to Atlanta, I replied, “Of course!”. Then…COVID-19. Spoiler alert; we were delayed, not denied. This past week Kim and I had a chance to connect and make the magic happen.

In this episode, we chat about me being an Alabama native, beauty blogger, YouTuber, TikTok’er, and natural hair connoisseur. We also discuss my entry into running, love of travel,  my move into content creation, my 1 million viewed viral TikTok video, a “momma I made it” moment when Amanda Seales reposted one of my TikToks and so much more!

Kim also shocks me when she mentions that not only has she never been to a Captain D’s, but she has never even heard of it! This is a travesty because Captain D’s has the best hush puppies in the world. Don’t worry, I made sure that we stopped by one before her return to New York. She loved it.
