Look Of The Day: Crown Me

If you know me personally, or if you have been following my YouTube and Blog journey you have noticed I have been trying new looks in 2020. I added pops of hair color using temporary hair paint wax and I substituted my signature red lipstick for a hot pink lipstick. Well, I’m not stopping there. Today’s Look Of The Day centers around a bold purple lip, Crown Me, by one of my new fav makeup lines, The Lip Bar! I was introduced to The Lip Bar earlier this year by a Soror and I have loved all of the products I have tried so far.

The Lip Bar was launched in 2012 by Founder Melissa Butler because she was “tired of the beauty industry’s lack of diversity, lack of inclusion, and excessive amounts of unnecessary chemicals.” Butler’s vegan lipsticks were actually rejected on “Shark Tank” in 2015. The fact that I am writing this blog post lets you know the story does not end there. Spoiler alert; she wins! I am so happy that Butler did not let that rejection stop her dream.
