Protective Styling: Wigging It
This summer, I added a different protective styling method to my capsule...wigs! I've always wanted to try a wig but I was hesitant and perhaps afraid to. Based on my observations, lace front wigs seem to be the most difficult units for amateur wig wearers to install. Even some women who have been wearing wigs for years haven't mastered the art of concealing the lace on the front of their units. How did I pull it off? A headband wig!

My Wash ‘N Go Hair Routine
If you’ve ever talked hair with me then you know I am a die-hard fan of the wash ‘n go routine for my curls. It is my holy grail, my signature, my staple. What is a wash ‘n go you ask? On the days that I wash my hair, I apply a leave-in conditioner, an oil (or a cream with oils in it), and a gel. In that order.…

Then March came and in a matter of weeks I began working from home indefinitely, heard reports of family and friends being effected by the virus and eventually had to cancel every trip that I had planned through July. However, changing my daily routine and…

Going for the Gold
Want to switch up your hair color but you don’t want it to be permanent? Hair Paint Wax is a great option! I have to admit that when it comes to my hair, I don’t really take risks and I rarely switch things up. Now that I think about it, I haven’t colored my hair since 2004! However, my interest was peaked when I kept seeing beautiful curls and coils all over social media enhanced by vibrant colors. The icing on the cake is that the colors were temporary and did not involve harsh chemicals! To be honest Hair Paint Wax was so popular that by the time I looked…
