Pretty In Pink

I don’t usually wear a pink lip, but the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Electric Pink is a whole mood! 

Let’s be honest. Being in quarantine/shelter in place for the last couple of months has taken its toll on many of us not only mentally, but on our outward appearances as well. There isn’t a need to get up and get dressed most days because many of us are either working from home or not able to work at all. Our routines that involved hair salons, barbershops and nail salons are on indefinite pause. Even with businesses opening and cities easing into resuming what we knew as normalcy, many of us have decided to stay put and not venture back out too soon. It’s been easy for me to wear pajamas and a bare face each day, even on the days that I have Zoom meetings for work. I’m aware of that, so what I have been doing is making it a point to put on clothes and style my hair a few days a week. Its honestly been a game changer! For me quarantine has actually been a great time and I’m not complaining. However, on the occasions that I haven’t been inside all day I make it a point to show up and show out, Honey! If you know me then you know a red lip is my signature look, but I couldn’t resist this electric pink vibe from Fenty Beauty. I’ll happily incorporate this color into my rotation.
